Best Bet: Limewood

Starting 25th Nov, Limewood started its' soft opening for the public. A round of cocktails are free for those who are happy to give feedback! Before you head on to The Pulse, let us give you a sneak peek of what to expect in Limewood from our exclusive meal there last weekend.


Limewood is located right on the beach in Repulse Bay, al fresco dining, it feels a lot like California. We started off at the bar with cocktails, who can resist a charred coconut piña colada with aged rum on this perfect setting? Our favorite is the burnt calamansi and salted plum margarita, very refreshing!


The Frozen Mango and sweet Thai basil was also yum...


We then moved to the restaurant side, the interior impressed us as much as the other restaurants from the group behind Limewood.


For appetizer, we enjoyed pork skin chicharron guacamole, compressed watermelon, and the jerked coconut corn which was on fire (think Sriracha) ! We also had some calamari with charred lime and mango habanero aioli.



From the genius team that brought Blue Butcher, Fish & Meat and Brickhouse, Limewood is a mix of South East Asian, Hawaiian, South American and Caribbean flavours centred around barbecued seafood, meats and great refreshing cocktails. That being said, what do you expect but some really good meat for main course?


The BBQ Lamb rack was sooo good with the peanut coconut sauce and pickled cucumber sauce. This is a must try even if you're not a fan of lamb, it might just be the reason for you to start liking lamb.


…and thank goodness we saved room for dessert! They were divine and complimentary to the rest of the meal.


We love the presentation too.

The menu was limited, given that it was only a soft opening. We cannot wait to go back and try the rest!
