Matt Abergel and Lindsay Jang, the masterminds behind 2 of Hong Kong's most popular dining spots Yardbird and RONIN, seems to know exactly what's missing in the food scene. Adding a third venture to their portfolio last month with the opening of Sunday's Grocery, a liquor store slash convenience store slash take-away sandwich shop that has quickly become a must-try for enthusiastic foodies as well as a new go-to for locals living in Kennedy Town.
If you have not had a chance to make your way out to K-Town to try their killer made-to-order sandwiches (chicken schnitzel/mushroom & cheese/falafel/chicken katsu), the good news is that Sunday's Grocery can now come to you as they have just announced the launch of their delivery service.
Sunday's Grocery boasts a selection of Japanese whiskeys, sake, shochu, mescal, wine and beer on tap. In terms of food, apart from the made-to-order sandwiches that we love, their menu also offer delicious salads, soups and simple side dishes like veggie sticks and pickles. For those who are into detoxifying rather than re-toxifying, there's also a selection of nutritious cold-pressed juices by Be-Juiced on offer.
They are accepting orders for large group catering (think junk boats, road trips, beach party, etc) so forget about having to coordinate and make multiple stops to stock up on booze and food for your next summer party, Sunday's Grocery seems to have everything you need!
