Electric sekki is excited to invite Ellery into the fold this year, beginning with her Fall/Winter 2014 season, which recently presented at Paris Fashion Week. Designed by former stylist Kym Ellery who spent four years as part of the creative team for cult-favourite magazine, RUSSH, the label is known for its dramatic take on volume and use of luxurious materials. Never one to shy away from exaggerated designs, Kym began Ellery with a view to create those piece that she wanted but could not find during her days as a stylist. Her Fall/Winter 2014 collection is dramatic in all the right places, a plunging neckline here, a full pleated skirt there, a voluminous bell sleeve here. Though certain pieces indeed are quite dramatic and perhaps not for the faint hearted, the collection also featured quieter, more subtle looks such as a series of gorgeous, classic navy dresses suitable for both work and play, depending on how they are accessorised. With yet another stunning collection under her belt, we're looking forward to receiving some of these gorgeous Ellery pieces soon in our showroom!
