Filled with rich colours and rich fabrics, Henry Holland's House of Holland Fall/Winter 2014 collection featured, according to him, "a gang of HOH harlots". Styled by one of our favourite stylists from China, Harper's Bazaar's Lucia Liu, for the first time this season, the collection was also imbued with a sense of eclectic and colourful rebellion, and seemed like it came straight out of Lucia's very own wardrobe. Henry also featured some retailers' favourites, reimagined this season. For example the oversized 3D embellishments found on a little red dress and a jacket/skirt combination, the colourful almost Art Deco style prints, the psychedelic textiles. But, as Henry also proudly proclaimed, the collection also featured his very first "LBD" offering. That's right, the trusty little black dress. The first one Henry has ever designed. But though the LBD is usually thought of as a classic, timeless piece; Henry's version is anything but! It's all jazzed up with an oversized furry hemline, not for the faint-hearted. This is one collection that is bound to make you smile.
