Settled on a beautiful street behind the Palais Royale in Paris was the Camilla & Marc showroom during fashion week. Just as its surroundings, the Camilla & Marc collection for Spring/Summer 2015 was quietly sophisticated, focusing mostly on tailoring and drapery. The collection's colour palette offered up a range of hues from white (one of the biggest colours to come out of the SS15 shows this year) to pretty pinks to dusty blues to rich wines. The collection is filled with pieces for a modern woman's power wardrobe, with styles fit for all occasions, from work to play to weekend; all done with an undeniably sleek finish. The label's sister line, C&M, on the other hand, had a much more sporty touch this season. We saw lots of sumptuously soft jersey, summery linens and sporty stripes from their Spring/Summer 2015 collection. These were used in easy-to-wear shapes such as slouchy tees, little dresses and loosely tailored pieces. It's the perfect complement to the Camilla & Marc main line, for days when you want to feel a little more relaxed and casual, but still undeniably stylish.
