We are loving the menswear inspired looks on the many stylish ladies at Men's Fashion Week. While a number of womenswear labels have amazing menswear inspired pieces on offer, we all know that raiding a guy's wardrobe will take you a long way and help add that je ne sais quoi edge to the look.
So to give you more ideas on what to
steal borrow from your boyfriend's wardrobe, we caught up with Nick Troedson, Mr Porter's Asia Pacific Senior PR Manager and one of the most well-dressed men in town, to find out what's on his style radar.
ES: What are you wearing during Fashion Week?
Nick: I like to keep it sleek and classic when it comes to my outfits for Fashion Week. My typical look would consist of a tailored suit (Dries van Noten, Sandro) over a simple t-shirt or a crisp white shirt (I love PYE shirts) and a tie for more formal occasions, and a pair of loafers (Saint Laurent or Lanvin) to finish the look. Sunglasses are also an essential and I always travel with a few pairs (Ray-bans, Oliver Peoples).
ES: What's on your must-have list for Autumn/Winter 2014?
Nick: I have my eyes on a Bottega Veneta long coat which I would love to add to my winter wardrobe staple; a Balenciaga backpack which is very on trend but at the same time extremely functional and perfect for travels.
ES: What are some of your favourites from what you've seen so far for Spring/Summer 2015?
Nick: I'm loving the new Berluti range, super luxe, fashionable yet classic with unbelievable tailoring and craftsmanship. I also really like the Acne Studios collection which offers a great selection of everyday casuals with an edge.
